<description>Although this tool is some what limited in use it performs excellent for the purpose it was designed for. I have used this tool to drill and tap many holes in machine bases and bolster plates that were too large or could not be moved to a drill press. With a good lay out job and heavy center punch you can accurately place the Mag Drill on center each time. The base of the tool is also a de-magnetizer for easy removal of chips and clean up.

<description>This magnetic drill was purchased to drill holes in a steel platen on a plastic injection molding machine. Previously we had to hire a machine shop to come to our facility with their equipment to do what we are now doing ourselves. The drill has performed perfectly and is doing exactly what was intended. The bottom line is that it has already paid for itself and saved thousands of dollars.
